What is Twitter Tips?
Tips is a feature that lets Twitter users add links to select third-party payment services (e.g Barter by Flutterwave, Cash App, Venmo, Chipper etc) to their Twitter profiles. When the feature is turned on, people can support a Twitter user by tapping on the Tips icon to send money via the third-party payment services and platforms added (in this case, Barter).
How does Twitter Tips work?
Turning on Tips adds an icon next to a Twitter user’s profile, which will also link to Barter for quick and easy person-to-person tipping. Once the icon is tapped, a user would then be able to view Barter by Flutterwave enabled. Once you select Barter, you will be taken off Twitter to the Barter app to complete the transaction.
Is the Twitter Tips feature available on the Web and Mobile?
The Twitter Tips feature is only available on iOS and Android Mobile Devices with a Tips icon visible on the Twitter profile of any user who's set it up.
